Organised by Tall Tales, the 99th edition of India's longest-running live storytelling series features five individuals sharing raw, true, first-person narratives reflecting comedic, dramatic, and emotional real-life moments.

True Stories Told Live marks the milestone 99th showcase for Tall Tales Storytelling, establishing it firmly as the longest-running non-fiction live storytelling platform across India. The curated evening abandons conventional theatrical scripts or fictional prose to spotlight five everyday individuals narrating highly personal, first-person accounts of real events they lived through themselves. Seamlessly blending elements of comedy, sorrow, and real-life drama, the presentation delivers an unfiltered, intimate look into true human experiences through raw performance art.

The performance is scheduled for Sunday, 16 August 2026, running exactly for two hours starting at 4:30 PM sharp and concluding by 6:30 PM IST. It will be held on the first floor at Idoru, located inside the Sunrise Cooperative Society building (directly above Izumi restaurant) on Road Number 24 in Khar West, Mumbai. Entry tickets are structured flat at ₹400 for an individual or ₹700 for a dual-admission package, with a special incentive giving a free gift to the first ten guests through the doors at the start of the evening.
