Godrej Vikhroli Mangroves

Godrej Vikhroli Mangroves is a protected urban coastal forest within the Godrej Enterprises campus in eastern Mumbai. Conserved by Godrej since the 1940s, the mangrove habitat forms part of a campus ecosystem supporting more than 1,500 species across plants, birds, animals, amphibians, reptiles and aquatic life while protecting the shoreline and storing substantial blue carbon.

Access is organised through guided conservation and awareness programmes rather than as an unrestricted public park. Official experiences include a five-kilometre guided e-bike trail through internal pathways, the Palm Garden junction, medicinal-plant pockets, Godrej Jetty and the Mangrove Interpretation Centre, led with naturalists and combining biodiversity learning, ecosystem demonstrations and community activities.
