Central Park, Kharghar is a large civic park developed by CIDCO across sectors 23, 24 and 25 of Kharghar. Set between the area's green hills and creek, its landscape uses natural watercourses and surrounding vegetation to combine open recreation with cultural infrastructure.
The park's first phase opened in January 2010, with its amphitheatre hosting the Navi Mumbai Festival and public concerts by Pritam and Sonu Nigam around the inauguration. Its lawns, pathways, planted areas and outdoor performance setting support walks, recreation, community gatherings, festivals, music and other open-air cultural programmes.
