: Born on December 14, 1965, in Gujarat, Manoj Joshi moved to Mumbai to study at the Sir J. J. School of Arts. He began his professional acting journey in Marathi commercial theatre before transitioning seamlessly to Gujarati and Hindi stage plays. He made his television breakthrough with historical and drama series like Chanakya and Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka. His major Bollywood break arrived in the late 1990s with Sarfarosh, followed by a massive career boom as a prominent comedian in Priyadarshan’s cult classics including Hungama, Hulchul, Bhagam Bhag, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
